Q: Why the name Seven Bro7hers Brewery?
A: Well this was one of the easier decisions……….. 😊 we’re actually seven brothers

Q: How long have you/the brewery been making beer for?
A: We’ve been a brewery now for four years
Q: What got you into brewing?
A: We grew up making homebrew with Dad and carried on as we got older

Q: When you’re not brewing what are your hobbies?
A: We’re all into things like sport and music. We’ve got an ex-pro rugby player (Nathan) all played footy and we were in bands as teenagers playing the Manchester scene when Oasis were coming through.
Q: What’s your favourite style of beer?
A: I (Keith) love spicy Reds
Q: If you could only have one of your brews for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? (I know it’s like picking a favourite child!)
A: It would be our Red IPA – I love the spicy notes a red gives. It’s a great beer when eating spicy foods too – brings out all the flavours.

Q: You are in a supermarket or bottle shop, in the Beer section of course, what would you buy? (your wonderful beer isn’t on sale unfortunately!)
A: I would buy beers from the likes of kernel, Brewdog, Dogfish Head, Stone
Q: What new flavour combination would you love to try/what new hops would you like to work with?
A: I would love to try more rye beers – and my Fav hop for full flavour and aroma is Ahtanum
Q: What brewery you would like to collaborate with and why?
A: Would love to collab with Thornbridge. The team there have helped us out a few times with some great advice, so it would be great to work with them.
Q: I see your crowdfunding. What are your aims for future brewery growth?
A: Well this list is long. We moved in to a new brewing facility last year meaning we are fit for future expansion, but we intend to grow sales across the northwest at first and then further down south. To accomplish this we need extra sales, brewing and marketing individuals. We intend to open a further 8 beerhouses and open-up our plans for export. We will expand on our growing retail presence and continue to create new and exciting beers.

Q: Any interesting stories?
A: We’ve so many stories – we’re brothers so you can imagine the dynamic is a little different to most other businesses…………yeah of course we disagree at times but we always manage to come to a decision.
We intended to launch with our IPA and Watermelon Wheat Beer but we couldn’t suss the Watermelon beer at all………it ended up taking us over a year and 100’s of attempts to get it right. Its now gone on to win a few awards one of them being an IBC international award judged by a panel of international beer professionals brought together by the Drinks retailing News

Thanks to Seven Bro7hers for taking part! I’m looking forward to see your brewery’s growth and eager to sample your beers. I love your taproom glasswear – I will certainly be visiting next time I come to Manchester. For more information on the brewery check out the following;
