London Beer Factory have recently rebranded the artwork on their cans. When I was in my local Tesco I noticed this new can, called Fuzzy Recall, is a collaboration with Gamma Brewing Co. Even though the cans have been redesigned, the characteristic 360˚ ring pull remains.
Mandatory “Fuzzy Recall” Facts
- Untappd Rating: 3.75 (at time of writing)
- ABV: 6.3%
- Style: New England IPA
- Serving: Can, 440ml
A stunning can, with a futuristic space appearance. Upon opening the 360 ˚ ring pull, the aluminium vessel produces a small “pop”. It pours a hazy bright yellow colour with a moderate white foam head. The hops in this beer include Cashmere and one that I haven’t sampled before – Idaho 7 (named after its home state). On sampling, this is a very juicy beer with notes of stone fruit, melon and some hints of tropical sunshine. It’s a bright beer, with a full bodied mouthfeel and completes with a dry pine finish. The boozy tones are just noticeable as you complete the can.

Diagnosis: 4.0/5. “Fuzzy Recall” a very easy drinkable beer, which I could imagine would be aptly named if you had a few of these cans of an evening! Given the success of this beer, I’ll have to check out the work of Gamma Brewing Co.
